Sun May 17, 2009 8:14 pm by Xathiador
Hello friends!
School ended for me a little while ago, and that means it is time to resume our positions. The graphic novel is underway again and so I will be active again at this forum! Big changes ahead, all for the better! It just keeps getting better and better! You all just haven't seen it yet. x_X But ya will soon! Stay tuned!

A Great and Terrible Beauty
[Open]
(So Taytay strolled down memory lane aka the old forum, and read some of the old posts she used to do. I’d like to recreate one of the rps, as I really want to start rping Eralia, but I hope I have improves since then ;P)

Golden warmth caressed the soft blades of grass in the clearing, making the surrounding foliage look fuzzy and blurred through through the sun and dust motes. Birds sang their entwining symphonies and small animals scampered throughout the underbrush gleefully unaware.
Sickening.
True, it was a relief to no longer bear the need to look over your shoulder every second, terrified that you really weren’t going to get away, but to find herself stumbling into Gumdrop Forest was a little too much to ask for. This was her safety, her haven. She had finally found a place away from her horrible brother and father. She no longer had to live in constant fear. Blah. Blah. Blah.
Boring.
On the plus side of things, everything feared her. She ate her fill, did as she pleased, came and went when she so preferred, and no law or pompous king told her otherwise. She had been traveling for several days now, trudging through snow, valleys and canyons, all of which she was unfamiliar with. Though as she knew of her father as leader in her homeland, she had no inkling of the ruler here. How naive.
Continuing to stand in the clearing, the enormous swamp damsel gave a quick, shifty look around, her senses quickly scanning for any peeping Toms who might catch her in the act. Then she swiftly dropped to the ground, her enormous sleek body rolling over and over again, jagged, razor-sharp hooves slicing the air as she continued to roll blissfully, buffing the sleek sealskin that was her hide. It was an act of vulnerability that she rarely partook in, but she felt that a first impression should be at her peak, not the warn, disheveled look she had about her from traveling. Besides, anything that saw her wouldn’t live long enough repeat what they saw….
She had no idea, of course, of the other beings who roamed the forest.
