An Important Note about the use of images

Okay, it has come to my attention that several people have wished to use images for their characters that they have not drawn/created themselves.

So, here is an adjustment of my policy, which I expect to be carried out precisely and completely:

It is highly preferred and recommended that you use images that either you have made/drawn/created or that someone else has exclusively made for you. This is a highly visual forum so I encourage you to use images, but bear this in mind.

You may use commercial images that do not belong to you as long as you acknowledge somewhere clearly that you did not create the image. This pertains ONLY to game images, published anime images, and magazine/publicity images, and others of the like.

On this account, you MAY NOT, I repeat, MAY NOT use images that come from private artists such as DeviantART, ArtSpots, FurAffinity, SheezyArt, Elfwood, or any other such place where unpublished artists may submit their art. Even if an artist from such a place HAS published work, you may not use their work.

This amendment is made for you guys in order to enable those of you who have brought characters from other places, or feel you cannot draw and still want a visual aid for your character. However, it is only decent to say, when showing us a link to your chosen image not done by you or someone for you, that "My character looks a bit like this," etc., rather than implying, "My character IS this" by linking such an image without stating the former.

I'm doing this stretch to try to benefit you guys, while remaining fair to the artist community. This will be closely monitored and I reserve the right to revoke this amendment/privilege at any time as I see fit.
