Basically she has a brown coat with green hair, heavily feathered legs and black hooves. Hair is short and shaggy other than her forelock which covers the right side of her face. Eyes do not have pupils and are a solid pale gold. Green vine like markings on neck, below eyes and on back, Chinese Earth symbol on both shoulders and a single band marking around her front left leg.

Personality: Xylia is stubborn to say the least. Very strong willed and opinionated, she and has a short temper and the power to back it up. Rude and harsh she has a dislike of anything and anyone that annoys her even in the slightest bit. She won't always say much and is quite clever when it comes to getting what she wants if threats don't work. If you happen to interest her you may see a kind side of her, you just have to look really really hard and be super patient to see it. One thing to note is that while she may be mean, she isn't cruel. She is a tad hypocritical, hating the powers she was given but knowing how to use them expertly. It was a case of, 'if you can't bet them, join them,' but you won't here her say that.

History: To understand Xylia you first have to understand that the land she came from was ruled by alliances and war. Four kingdoms were each assigned an elemental power, one child was to be given that power by the goddess that protected that region. Xylia's home land was given the power of earth and she herself was gifted with the power to control plant life and earth itself at a young age. While the rulers of her kingdom were delighted to use her as a new weapon, the view of the traditional people was the opposite. Everyone around her shunned her as a monster, her gift had transformed her, changing her hair to a funky green and eyes to a solid gold. This hatred she received from other caused her to despise her gift and think of it as a curse.
Outraged by Xylia's disrespect, the goddess took her away to a forest in which she was to never leave unless given permission by the goddess herself. This new restriction made her only hate the goddess even more, feeling she was the reason her life was ruined. As time passed she was slowly given more freedom, able to do tasks, chores and missions for the goddess that allowed her to leave the forest. The goddess keeps a secret from Xylia though, a way free herself from the limitation she set for her. Despite her cold and harsh being, the mare has to find love, she must give as well as receive. Xylia searches for a way to complete the task unknown to her during the missions she travels to complete.
Xylia is one of four elemental equines. The only other she has come in contact with is Feng, stallion of the wind.
